More About Ruff Ride Benefiting Pets Healing Vets
Get your motors running to support the Humane Society for Hamilton County’s Pets Healing Vets program! With 22 military veterans committing suicide every day and millions of animals being euthanized in shelters every year, Pets Healing Vets works to save lives at both ends of the leash. Pets Healing Vets pairs Hoosier veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) or traumatic brain injury (TBI) with carefully selected shelter dogs and cats in need of homes. Ours is the only program of its kind we’ve found that removes the real barrier to companion pet ownership—cost.
Ruff Ride 2022 begins at the Humane Society for Hamilton County and ends at Harley Davidson of Indy. Ride tickets are $50 per rider and include a light breakfast, escorted ride through Hamilton County, an event t-shirt and after party hosted by Harley Davidson of Indy. The after party will feature live music from The Tempos as well as lunch and a drink ticket.
