Stowe, Vermont

Stowe is a town in Lamoille County, Vermont, United States. The population was 5,223 at the 2020 census. The town lies on Vermont Routes 108 and 100. It is nicknamed "The Ski Capital of the East" and is home to Stowe Mountain Resort, a ski facility with terrain on Mount Mansfield and Spruce Peak.

Stowe was a farming and logging community after the Civil War and loggers sometimes traveled through the winter woods on long boards with upturned tips.

Stowe is deemed to be one of the most beautiful and pristine ski towns in New England. This town offers 116 amazing trails for skiing, snowboarding, and other adventures.

Stow is a flourishing town and contains a neat and pleasant mountain valley village. The Akley Building Town Hall, containing the Post Office, was built in 1902.
