Join us in celebrating our Sesquicentennial Anniversary
2022 will mark the 150th anniversary of the Village of Richmond. We have many exciting things planned for the weekend of September 16th-18th, please stay tuned as we release information about the event in the coming weeks. Planning this weekend has been a joyful collaboration between the Village of Richmond Sesquicentennial Volunteers, W.A. McConnell Foundation and Richmond Business Association to celebrate everything that makes Richmond special!
A new municipal flag will be chosen from the sesquicentennial flag competition entries held earlier this spring and officially adopted this summer. Downtown events will be held all weekend to showcase the beautiful Historic District including an antique car show, wine walk, whiskey tasting, art show, police and fire department truck tours, live music, architecture and history walking tour, a fundraising gala and much more!
Events include a wine walk, car show, touch-a-truck, celebration in the park, downtown business sales and events, sidewalk sales, ice cream social, fundraising gala, historic home tours and more!
