More About "My Favorite Things" by Doris Mady

Doris is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology, studied at School of Visual Arts, Westchester Community and Skidmore Colleges. Following a long, successful advertising career as creative director/graphic designer in advertising’s Top Twenty advertising agencies and, of late, the nonprofit sector, she is now in her studio full-time. She believes strongly in using the Dumond Palette for her landscapes and still-lifes. (This palette was strongly advocated by Frank Vincent Dumond at The Art Students League in NYC.)

A member of the Greenwich Arts Council, New Rochelle Arts Association, an Exhibiting Member at Rowayton Arts Center, and Stamford Art Association. She was accepted to the National League of American Pen Women (Greenwich, CT branch), as their Treasurer and webmaster/ GPW is the oldest women's arts organization in the US. She is also a member of the White Plains St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee where she further employs her art director talents.
