More About Oktoberfest Returns to Bulldog Park 🥨🍺
Oktoberfest returns to Bulldog Park from 2-10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1.
This free, family friendly event features something for everyone, including live music, local food vendors, a beer garden, face painting, hayrides, a bean bag tournament and more!
This is the 14th year the City of Crown Point has hosted an Oktoberfest celebration. Local food vendors will offer German fare and seasonal menu items.
Live music will begin at 4:15 p.m. and continue until 10 p.m. Dyllyngyr, a classic rock band, will kick off the night’s festivities from 4:15-5:45 p.m. Derek Caruso & The Blues Fuse, a blues-rock band, will perform from 6:15-7:45 p.m. Marrakesh Express, a Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young tribute band, will close out the night from 8:30-10 p.m.

“Oktoberfest is the beginning of our fall/winter event season in the City of Crown Point, and I look forward to seeing the community at Bulldog Park for another amazing event,” Crown Point Mayor Pete Land said.

The City of Crown Point was founded on Oct. 31, 1834, by Solon Robinson. At the time, it was known as Robinson’s Prairie, named after Solon Robinson. Crown Point was incorporated as a town on June 3, 1868, and officially became a city 43 years later on June 6, 1911.
