More About Plymouth Housing & Redevelopment Authority (HRA)
The Plymouth Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) has been an independent governmental entity since its initial creation by the City Council in 1975. The HRA is governed by a board of commissioners appointed by the City Council. Commissioners serve five-year terms with one seat expiring every year at the end of January.
The Plymouth Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) meets at City Hall, on the fourth Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. Meetings are open to the public.
The HRA manages the city's housing and community development programs, and federal, state, and local grants for housing programs. Ongoing programs include the First Time Homebuyer program, Emergency Repair Grants for seniors, owner-occupied Rehabilitation Loans and Section 8 Rent Assistance.
The HRA also owns and manages two senior housing apartment buildings, Plymouth Towne Square and Vicksburg Crossing.
