More About Plymouth - Adopt a Hydrant Volunteers Needed
The Plymouth Fire Department is encouraging residents to participate in the Adopt a Hydrant program. Participants help firefighters by keeping hydrants clear of snow and ice. This allows first responders to access water faster during a fire.
Program participants are asked to remove snow and ice in a three foot radius around their hydrant within 24 hours of a snow event. They are also asked to report any hydrant damage. Residents should register the adopted hydrant on the city website. This helps log the location and volunteer time. Click for Details
