More About St. Benno Fest at the Athenaeum
The patron saint of brewers, fishermen, and weavers, St. Benno will appear with Herr Bock to bless the biergarten and wish us all good health and a happy spring on Saturday, April 15. St. Benno Fest is one of the longest-running German heritage events in Indianapolis, dating back to at least 1913. As the patron saint of Munich, St. Benno made a lasting impact on the Catholic faith, and his legacy continues to thrive through fascinating folklore and long-standing traditions.
