More About Spring Speakers Series: Somerset County Then & Now
The Mary S. Biesecker Public Library is excited to announce our next Spring Speaker Series Event! On the first Friday of the upcoming months, the Library is hosting a local speaker at 6:00 pm to offer free activities and informational lectures for the public. The series is being held in conjunction with Somerset Inc.’s “First Fridays in Uptown Somerset” event, where local business are open late from 4:30-8PM, hosting special events, exclusive shopping experiences, popup vendors, and more.
This month's event will feature a lecture by the library's communications assistant Christopher Saunders about the Somerset County Then and Now project! Over the past several months, we've been collaborating with Somerset Inc., the Somerset County Historical Center and several local researchers on a website chronicling historic buildings across Somerset County. We're getting ready to launch this project and are interested in hearing from you as we put the final touches on our presentation. Sign up for free to attend the event and learn how you can help: Click for Details
