An evening of fabulous jazz dedicated to the late great saxophonist Wayne Shorter
Jazz past meets present meets future.
The Paul Thompson Jazz Quartet represents different generations of jazz music from one of America’s centers of the art form: Pittsburgh, Pa. Combining original music and standard repertoire, the group focuses on creating a new sound while firmly embodying the traditions of jazz. Each member of the group has extensive performing credits in Pittsburgh, around the country, and internationally while continuing to play within the abundant jazz community in our city.
Doors open at 7 and the concert begins at 7:30.
