WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, meaning that it is God's way of communicating with His people today. We look to the Bible as the final authority in all that we believe and practice.
We believe in one God, who created all things, and who reveals Himself as three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that God, the Father, created man in His perfect image, but through sin, our relationship with God has been broken. God expects perfection and anything less results in the punishment of hell.
We believe that God, the Son, came to earth as the man, Jesus Christ, to earn for us our forgiveness and eternal life. His death on the cross paid the punishment we deserve because of our sin. His resurrection from the dead assures us that we who believe and confess Him as Lord and Savior will rise with Him to eternal life. We not only believe that Jesus saves, but we believe ONLY Jesus saves.
We believe that God, the Holy Spirit, comes to us today through the Word and the Sacraments, to strengthen faith, and to empower us to lives filled with love and service for our fellow man.
We believe that our purpose for living is to love God and to love others, especially by leading them to know Jesus as their personal Savior. We are asked by Jesus not only to be disciples but also "disciple-makers."
Come to join us in worship; we'd love to answer your questions in person!
