More About Can you recognize signs of Obesity in your teen - Empowerment & Adventure Program starts Sept 17th

Eating Disorders in teens is a growing concern, and as a parent, it’s important to know how to recognize the signs of any type of eating disorder including obesity which is increasing in numbers in teens:

1. Increased Appetite: If your teen girl is constantly snacking, overeating, or hungry after a meal, it could be an indication that they have a problem with portion control.
2. Lack of Physical Activity: Does she spend most of her time on the couch or glued to her phone? You can encourage her to join an outdoor adventure program.
3. Low Self-Esteem: This may be because she's unhappy with her appearance or the way she feels about herself.
4. Change in Eating Habits: While it's normal for teens to enjoy sweet treats and junk food, if it's a daily occurrence, it could be a warning signal.
