More About Arpeggio Music Festival 2023

For 2023, Arpeggio Music Festival will present important musical works in new perspectives. Hear all four of Vivaldi's Four Seasons, but played by a string quartet with soloist, and with the poems that inspired the composer recited. Hear Mahler's magnificent Ninth symphony transcribed for piano four-hand. Hear the Four Last Songs by Richard Strauss juxtaposed with five remarkable piano pieces he wrote as a teenager.
Experience music performed in a different arrangement or context and see if you don't gain new understanding of the composer's processes.
