More About The Royal History of Sacher Torte: A Delicious Story Worth Telling 🥮

The story of Sacher Torte began in 1832 when Prince Metternich, the famous Austrian diplomat, asked his pastry chef, Franz Sacher, to create a special dessert to captivate the taste buds of the royal guests at a gala dinner. ✨

At that time, Franz Sacher was a 16-year-old apprentice in the kitchen of Prince Metternich. He rose to the challenge and came up with a dense, chocolate cake that had a layer of apricot jam in the middle and was coated with a smooth, chocolate icing on the top and sides. The cake was an instant success, and soon the demand for it started to spread far beyond the noble circles. 🥮

So, if you are looking for a luxurious culinary experience, or just a sweet moment of indulgence, why not try a slice of Sacher Torte? Consult with Jill and Mike from Isabelle et Vincent today. 🧑‍🍳

More About Isabelle et Vincent

Our Story
Founders Isabelle and Vincent moved from France to the United States in order to create a new life. In doing so, they created Isabelle et Vincent, a traditional French bakery that offers the highest quality hand-made baguettes, croissants, chocolates, pastries, desserts, and the like. For over 10 years, Isabelle and Vincent worked tirelessly to provide the best traditional French products to their loyal supporters. After so many years of hard work and dedication, the pair decided to pass the baton on to someone who was willing to maintain the same delicious standard that Isabelle and Vincent have set. In September of 2018, the Saulsberry family took on the huge task of purchasing the bakery and carrying on the legacy.
