Guided Photography Scavenger Hunt

Join us Saturday June 10th for a new guided hike event - a photography scavenger hunt! We will walk the trails of the nature center as a group to find and take photos of the beautiful world around us, looking for details that often go unnoticed! Whether you’re a photography enthusiast or just a nature lover with a phone, this event will provide an exciting way to discover all sorts of fascinating things to observe and experience in nature! The walk will be led by WNC educator Tommy McCarthy, and 8th grade student Owen Dunleavy. Tommy and Owen both share a passion for photography and Owen created this year’s Spring Photo Contest as part of his 8th grade Capstone Project. Get ready to explore your creative side, - this walk will be fun for all ages and a phone with a camera is all you need!
