
More About Step Afrika! Workshop: Introduction to Step Dance
The Cultural Events Series at Frostburg State University and the Department of Student Engagement will present a free workshop with the dancers of Step Afrika!, “Introduction to Step Dance.” In stepping, the body becomes an instrument, using footsteps, claps and spoken word to produce complex polyrhythms. The workshop will take place on Saturday, Sept. 30, at 3 p.m. in the FSU Lane University Center Atkinson Room. Attendance is limited and registration is required.
