The Mendoza family opened up the very first El Salto Mexican Restaurant in Valparaiso Indiana. El Salto was created to serve customers fresh, authentic Mexican cuisine in a cultured, festive and inviting atmosphere. Since then, brothers; Robert and Rosendo Mendoza have opened five more El Salto locations including Chesterton, Munster, Merrillville, Portage, and Schererville, Indiana.
El Salto is notoriously known for their amazing margaritas and weekly margarita specials. Their dishes are always served with the finest ingredients and quality service. We invite you to come to visit us at one of our six great locations to taste the difference, where it's always a fiesta!
