More About Holocaust Commemoration

The Town's 35th Annual Commemoration of the Holocaust, featuring speakers and musical presentations, will take place on April 25, 2018. This year's principal speaker is Endre (Andy) Sarkany, who was born in Budapest, Hungary and, as a child, lived in the Budapest ghetto. Mr. Sarkany lived through not only the Nazi occupation of Hungary but also the subsequent Communist regime, before escaping from Hungary after the Hungarian uprising in October, 1956.

The event is open to everyone, including those from Fairfield and all area towns. There is no charge.
