More About Carmel International Arts Festival - Cancelled

COVID-19 UPDATE
With very heavy hearts, the 2020 Carmel International Arts Festival Board has decided to cancel this year’s festival due to COVID-19 pandemic! "The decision was not made lightly and many different scenarios for safe physical-distancing, in-person festival were considered before making this decision. However, the expected attendance, the out-of-state exhibitors and recent surges of COVID-19 around the country were major considerations in the recommendation from the Mayor. The CIAF Board is already in the planning stages for the 2021 Festival and are looking to that date, September 25-26, 2021.

*****************************************************

Main Street and Rangeline Road will be lined with Artists from all over the country for the 23rd annual Carmel International Arts Festival. On Saturday night the Arts & Design District will be rocking to the music of “My Yellow Rickshaw.” ART ROCKS!, the largest street party in the Art & Design District, is back from 7:30pm – 10:30pm. ART ROCKS! is a free, family-friendly, community event that you will not want to miss. Come and pick up some food from one of the great restaurants on Main Street or make a selection from one of the many food and beverage trucks at the Festival.

The Festival has grown considerably from that first year around Carmel City Square. In 2020 there will be over 130 juried artists exhibiting in 2D, 3D, Ceramics, Fiber, Glass, Jewelry, Painting, Photography, and Wood. We look forward to welcoming you to the Festival and seeing you at ART ROCKS!

▪ Saturday, September 26, 10am-7pm
