Follow the North Star at Conner Prairie

Follow the North Star at Conner Prairie

More About Follow the North Star at Conner Prairie

Participants travel back to the year 1836 and assume the role of fugitive slaves seeking freedom on the Underground Railroad through the state. Traveling as a group, you will encounter a variety of characters, ranging from sympathetic allies to racist antagonists. It is a powerful experience that generates empathy, provokes discussion, and immerses visitors in this important part of our nation’s history.

Follow the North Star is not for everyone. You should be prepared to take on the role of an escaped slave; you'll be walking outside on rough terrain in all kinds of weather, told to keep your eyes focused downward and spoken to in an abrupt manner.

Friday and Saturday, April 20 & 21 and April 27 & 28.
$20/non-member ($17/member). For ages 12+; children under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Two-hour program; start times staggered every 15 minutes. To purchase tickets and to select your preferred start time, please visit the website link provided.
