Dragons on the Lake Festival

Dragons on the Lake Festival

More About Dragons on the Lake Festival

Dragon boat racing provides a unique team building experience for teams of 20 paddlers and one drummer. Every paddler plays a specific role as they sit next to each other and against the gunnel to balance the 46 foot long boat and make it go as fast as they can paddle. Teams rave about the excitement, friendly competition and community spirit surrounding the sport. All ages (15 years and older), skill levels and physiques perfect their stroke and timing for the ultimate teamwork experience.
Our inaugural Dragons on the Lake Festival will allow each team 3-4 races with plenty of spectator and festival action with live music and a diverse selection of food and beverages.
Climb aboard a dragon boat and support the YMCA of Cumberland. Every dollar raised goes directly to making our community's tomorrows better today...so dive in and join us on September 22, 2018.
