More About Joe B Band

The Joe B. Band is a student/faculty rock band from Milford High School that was formally started circa 2002 by history teacher Joe Brucato, aka “Joe B.” The band consists of students and various Milford High School faculty members. Currently, the band is directed by history teacher Dustin Santomenna, who has co-directed the band with Joe B. since he retired from teaching in 2015. The band rehearses on Fridays throughout the school year and summer. It has a repertoire of 30-50 songs from the 1950s to the modern day, playing an eclectic mix of classic, 80s, 90s, and contemporary rock and pop, everything from The Beatles to Harry Styles to Journey to Bruno Mars. This is not your typical high school garage band. The current band features 11 students and even includes a horn section.

More About Hopkinton Center for the Arts

The Hopkinton Center for the Arts offers arts to all people.

Our classes, productions, and exhibitions serve an inclusive community of students, performers, and exhibiting artists diverse in age, ability, experience, ethnicity, and geography.

Among our innovative current programs:

* Visual arts instruction for developmentally disabled adults

* Music instruction for infants and toddlers

* Linkage with public school students and teachers, who use HCA as an educational resource in the arts and in leadership training

In the visual arts, theater, music, and dance, HCA annually offers over 200 classes to more than 1,000 students, from preschool to seniors, drawn from the diverse population of over 40 neighboring cities and towns. In 2015 we opened our new art center, with newly renovated classrooms, a new 200-seat performance space, and a new exhibition space. The Delbridge Family Performance Space and the Lotvin Family Gallery annually present dozens of productions and exhibitions by students and adults, amateurs and professionals. Created in 2011, HCA, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community arts center, fosters and celebrates the creative spirit in everyone.
