More About Thirty-Seven Verses on the Practice of a Bodhisattva - Natick

Dharma Talk and Meditation
In the Mahayana tradition, those who have the inspiration and courage to undertake the profound change of
attitude required to develop true compassion are called Bodhisattvas. This classic text of Tibetan Buddhist
wisdom and methods presents ways that we can work with our own hearts and minds, starting wherever we find
ourselves now to discover our own true potentials and strengths within and manifest and embody genuine
compassion, love and wisdom that has all the healing power and beauty of joy and happiness. These teachings
have been passed down from many generations of Tibetan Buddhist masters and are a great source of inspiration
and guidance for all those who have been fortunate to encounter this treasure. Lama Tsering Ngodup Yodsampa,
a Tibetan Buddhist teacher, leads these studies. Lama Tsering has devoted over twenty years to sharing the
spiritual teachings of Buddhism in the West. He is authorized to teach by H. H. Shamar Rinpoche

and how to adapt it to the new world. Since 1983 he has been living in the
West teaching Buddhism, guiding meditation practices and translating for
Tibetan Buddhist masters and scholars from all traditions of Tibetan schools
of Buddhism. Tsering received teachings and transmissions of spiritual
tradition mainly from the Karma Kagyu tradition and its linage holder late
Kunzig Shamarpa recognized and endorsed him as Lama (spiritual teacher)
and advised and blessed him to teach and share his knowledge and
experiences. He is the founder of Bodhi Tree Institute for Dharma Study
and Practice and the Buddhist staff Chaplain at Beth Israel Deaconess
