The community is invited to view works of art submitted for the 2018
Framingham Cultural Council Student Art Competition from April 4-30 in the
Costin Room of the Main Library, 49 Lexington Street.

The theme of this year's contest is "city" recognizing that Framingham is
the Commonwealth's newest city All submissions draw inspiration from or
respond to this theme in some way. Monetary prizes will be awarded by three
judges, prestigious in the art community.

The submissions must be new and original and not copies or reinterpretations
of works by others nor have been submitted or exhibited previously. The
students must be age 11-18 as of January 1, 2018.

Over 150 entries have been received coming from students who attend Walsh
Middle School, Framingham High School, Marian High School, Keefe Regional
Technical School, Christa McAuliffe Regional Charter School, the Learning
Center for the Deaf, or Reed Academy.
