Songs of Ireland – A Celtic Celebration spotlights universally loved songs and arias drawn from Irish traditional folk, opera, the great American songbook and Broadway. The performance features the glorious vocals of four tenors and four sopranos accompanied by a pianist and three traditional Irish instrumentalists on uilleann pipes, whistles, fiddle, and concertina.

Throughout the month of March, community members are encouraged to visit the Lewis J. Ort Library to explore a display highlighting the Great Hunger that affected Ireland from 1845-1852, and the contributions made to the United States by Irish immigrants.
