More About Student Exhibit Opening: Civil War

Join us for the opening of our new, student-curated exhibit on the Civil War! Come see how local residents contributed to the war effort. Hear how Westport, despite its Union status, may not have supported abolition and racial equality in the way we’d believe. The conflict marks a period of great change in American history – one Westport helped shape.

Enjoy late hours to view this new exhibit and light refreshments.

Due to construction, the Museum’s parking lot and grounds are inaccessible. There is free parking available behind Town Hall. Please access the Museum via our Avery Place driveway and enter up our back ramp.

Exhibit openings are free but we’d appreciate your support! Suggested donation of $5, continues our unique exhibitions.
