More About Coffee and Donuts with the Fire Department - Golden Valley

Cohesive communities are key to preventing crime, and summer wouldn’t be summer in Golden Valley without programs that give residents opportunities to meet police officers and firefighters in social settings.

Join the fire department for Coffee and Donuts at
FIRE STATION 1
7800 Golden Valley Rd
Station 1 was completely remodeled in 1995 and houses the Fire Department's administrative offices for full-time staff members. Among the equipment at this station is the department's aerial ladder truck (with 105-foot extension ladder), one pumping engine, one personnel truck, and one fire prevention vehicle. The building features a large meeting room and a kitchen.

FIRE STATION 2
400 Turner's Crossroad S
(Turner's Crossroad and Laurel Ave)
Station 2 was built in 1979 and houses one pumping engine, a smoke extractor truck, and a rescue truck. It also has a meeting room, kitchen, and one office. It is located in the southeast corner of the city, serving the area south of I-394 and north of Glenwood Ave, between Theodore Wirth Parkway and Winnetka Ave.

FIRE STATION 3
3700 Golden Valley Road
(Bonnie Lane and Golden Valley Rd)
Station 3 was completed in 1980 and houses two pumping engines, a light rescue vehicle, and the rescue boat. Old Engine #1, the City's first fire truck, also resides at this station. It has been with the Fire Department since 1943 and is taken to parades and other celebrations, where it has received many first place awards. The building has a meeting room, kitchen, and one office.

There's simply nothing else like it!

In addition to our annual print calendar, our digital tools are powerful & intuitive. Our website, weekly events e-newsletter & smart phone apps are updated every day to ensure that you can always find out where to go to have fun or to save money!

We encourage you to sign up for our free weekly events e-newsletter--we will send local events to your inbox every Thursday. To sign up, choose "Newsletter" at the top of this page & select "subscribe".
