Golden Valley - Public Safety In The Parks

More About Golden Valley - Public Safety In The Parks

Golden Valley's police and firefighters started making visits to local parks in 2010 as a way to make connections with kids and parents. Since then, Public Safety In The Parks has become a weekly tradition that is helping strengthen relationships and build community. Along with spending time with children in the neighborhood, officers and firefighters give safety lectures and more importantly, have fun! On hot days, the firetruck becomes the source of a gigantic sprinkler to help the kids cool down!
