More About The Easter Story - A Contemporary Art Exhibition

The Easter Story is a contemporary art exhibition based upon the Stations of the Cross, sponsored by Spring Lake Church. The exhibition takes you through the last hours of Jesus's life as recorded in the Bible. 14 local artists created works of art based upon the written scripture and what it means to them. There are traditional and non-traditional interpretations, and a variety of mediums including photography, mixed media, painting, and 3D displays.An opening reception will be held on Friday, March 9 from 6 pm to 9 pm where the public can view the exhibition, meet the artists and hear music from Spring Lake Church.

The exhibition will also be on display during the month of March from the 6th - 31st. There will be extended viewing hours till 8 pm during the week leading up to Easter on March 27 - 30.

Featured artists include: Kevin Smith, Cyndee Sweetland, Daniel Klewer, Mary Breuer, Luke Hochrein, Christa Cape, Kathy Doubek, Steve Doubek, Gregory Frederic, Amy Frederic, Brekken Cogswell, Shanna Koltz, Jake Barnes and Jaime Frisque.
