In celebration of National Library Week, The Johnson County Public Library is thrilled to welcome David Baldacci as the next author in our 2020 Authors at JCPL series.

Join us in the Center Grove High School Auditorium in Greenwood, IN for this event on Saturday evening, April 25. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. The first 100 JCPL cardholders to register and attend will receive a free copy of "Walk the Wire." Meet the author and get your books signed, as well! Copies of the author's books will be available for purchase from Barnes & Noble Booksellers.

David Baldacci is the New York Times best-selling author of "Absolute Power" and "Memory Man." He published his first novel, "Absolute Power," in 1996. The feature film adaptation followed, with Clint Eastwood as its director and star. In total, David has published 40 novels for adults; all have been national and international bestsellers, and several have been adapted for film and television. His novels are published in over 45 languages and in more than 80 countries, with over 130 million worldwide sales. David has also published seven novels for younger readers.

In addition to being a prolific writer, David is a devoted philanthropist, and his greatest efforts are dedicated to his family’s Wish You Well Foundation®. Established by David and his wife, Michelle, the Wish You Well Foundation supports family and adult literacy in the United States by fostering and promoting the development and expansion of literacy and educational programs. David and his family live in Virginia.
