Griffith Fire Department Chili Cook Off

Griffith Fire Department Chili Cook Off

More About Griffith Fire Department Chili Cook Off

On April 21st from 12-3 we invite chili cooks everywhere to come compete in the Griffith Fire Department Auxiliary's 6th annual Chili Cook off. It is free to enter your chili recipe into the contest, we just ask that you provide 2 crockpots of chili so that there is enough for the community to try and vote.

Winner of the competition is chosen by those attending this event, so invite your friends and family. Winners of the competition will receive a cash prize and trophy. Don't have a chili recipe, but love eating chili? We invite the community to attend the event and sample all of the delicious chili, and help us crown our winner.

Admission to the event is $5 which gets you all the chili samples you can stand (full bowls available for purchase from our cooks).

There will also be hot dogs, drinks, and a bake sale for anyone who does not want chili or would like to make a chili dog (these items are for purchase).

Finally we will have a silent auction and raffle filled with lots of wonderful prizes donated by our wonderful donors.

So come spend the afternoon with us! Enjoy some fun, food, and music while supporting the Griffith Fire Department Auxiliary.
