The Lakes of the Four Seasons Volunteer Fire Department will host its first Inaugural Bucket Brigade 5K on Saturday, May 19th at 9 am. Proceeds from the race will be going towards new Fire/ EMS equipment and gear.

The race will take place throughout the beautiful Lakes of the Four Seasons subdivision. General parking will be available off site, with shuttle services provided to the race start. Early registration is $25 and includes a t-shirt (ages 13 and over), or $20 without a t-shirt (ages 13 and over). $15 includes a t-shirt (ages 12 and under), or $10 without a t-shirt (ages 12 and under). Ages 5 and under are free, but requires parental supervision. Race day registration is $30 and includes a t-shirt, while supplies last, or $25 without a t-shirt.

The 5K will be chip timed and the results will be posted at click for details. Following the race will be a department open house from 11-3, including demonstrations, kid’s games, food and music. Call Kailey Gernenz at 219-306-9717, Christine Buczek at 219-789-6015, or email with any questions.
