The Fourth of July festival and Twilight Parade are canceled for 2020. The governor's order stipulates that neither Lake nor Marion counties will be fully opened until July 11, too late for the annual event. Town Council President Mark Schocke said the council will be work with the Council of Community Events, Parks Superintendent Alex Brown and the Park Board to seek alternative activities that may be scheduled later this year. Watch this space for announcements on their plans.
