Sign-ups are now open for the Crown Point Athletics Summer Basketball Camp AND Adult Fun in the Sun Summer Sand Volleyball League!
โผ Summer Basketball ๐
The program is design to teach the basics of basketball, including dribbling, passing and shooting drills, to children ages 4 to 14. Each camper will participate in competitive games for their skill level and have the opportunity to compete within their age group.
The camp is held at Solon Robinson Park and begins June 12, 2023. The program will be held for two weeks, Monday through Thursday.
Individual registration fee
Ages 4-6 years old | 10-11 a.m.
Crown Point residents who live within city limits: $36
Non-residents who live outside city limits: $45
Youth ages 7-14 | 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
Crown Point residents who live within city limits: $48
Non-residents who live outside city limits: $60
โผ Adult Volleyball
The adult co-ed and womenโs sand volleyball league will begin the week of June 12, 2023.
This year, Fun in the Sun will feature co-ed and womenโs 6x6 divisions and a 4x4 co-ed division from 6-9 p.m.
The adult summer co-ed and women's division will consist of a minimum of eight matches and tournament competition with a maximum of 16 teams per night.
All matches are played outdoors at the Sportsplex on the sand volleyball courts located at 1313 E. North St., Crown Point, IN 46307.
Individual entry fee Crown Point residents who live within city limits: $40
Non-residents who live outside city limits: $50

The City of Crown Point was founded on Oct. 31, 1834, by Solon Robinson. At the time, it was known as Robinsonโs Prairie, named after Solon Robinson. Crown Point was incorporated as a town on June 3, 1868, and officially became a city 43 years later on June 6, 1911.
Crown Point is the seat of Lake County and is considered "The Hub," of Lake County.
