More About Advocates

These are difficult times. I hope you and your family are healthy and are managing ok.

As essential providers, Advocates is continuing to help thousands of people with autism, brain injuries, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and mental health challenges every day.

As we work around the clock to manage this crisis, I am grateful for the direct care staff who leave their families every day and provide the support that thousands of people living in group homes or in apartments need to be safe and healthy.

I am grateful for the staff who are working 10, 12, and 14 hour days from their home, providing therapeutic support on the phone or through telehealth to people struggling with fear, anxiety, depression, and other serious issues.

And I am grateful for the staff who are working behind the scenes tracking down food and supplies, keeping our computers running, ensuring that staff get paid, communicating with families about their loved ones, and making sure that nothing falls through the cracks.

And I am grateful for you. You care about the people we support. You care about their families. And you care about our staff.

Every day, Advocates is incurring thousands of dollars in unexpected expenses for food for isolated individuals, cleaning supplies for group homes, and masks and gloves to protect staff.

Will you make a donation to our COVID-19 Fund today?
Your gift will help deliver critical care while keeping everyone safe during this global crisis.

Thank you for your support. And best wishes to you and your family.
