More About Evening Learning Series - I'm In The Hospital-Now What?

If you are on, or about to be on Medicare, or have a loved one covered by Medicare, this is important information. Senior Center Director, Linda Marshall will talk about topics such as, what it means to be admitted to a hospital under observation status, and the impact that has on your benefits and future care. We will also discuss what is and is not covered by Medicare during a Hospital or rehab stay, when you should start planning your rehab admission, and the new C.A.R.E. act, where you have a right to have a family member informed or and instructed in your care needs following a hospitalization. Prior to joining the Senior Center, Linda worked 30 years as a counselor and social worker for area hospitals and nursing and rehab facilities.

Light refreshments will be served, so please call the Senior Center at (508) 429-0622 and reserve your space. Contact Marty Schneier, Outreach Coordinator, with further questions.
