The Cleveland Walk to End Alzheimer's steps off on October 13 at Great Lakes Science Center. Registration opens at 7 a.m. and the walk begins at 9 a.m. following a brief Promise Garden ceremony at 8:45 a.m.to honor persons affected by Alzheimer's.The walk is presented locally by Saber Healthcare Foundation and Edward Jones is the National Presenting Sponsor. Nearly 3,000 people are expected to join the three-mile walk with a one-mile option that winds through downtown Cleveland past iconic landmarks. Walk to End Alzheimer’s is more than a walk. It calls on participants to unite in a movement to reclaim the future for millions. In addition to the actual walk, participants learn about Alzheimer’s disease and how to get involved with this critical cause, from advocacy opportunities to support programs and services to clinical studies.
