More About Trunk or Treat Events

Hickory Ridge Cinema Trunk or Treat
October 25th 10am – 2pm
1055 Pearl Road, Brunswick, OH 44212

UPDATE: This Event has been approved by the Medina County Health Department!

Things will definitely be different this year for our 4th Annual Trunk or Treat Event. The theme this year will be 'Save the Theater'. The event will be minimalized and organized in a completely different fashion to safely mitigate any risks for trick or treaters and our trunk partners.

A Limited number of Trunk or Treaters will be permitted every half hour based on your tickets purchased. Once you buy your tickets they cannot be switched. Additionally, everyone entering the trunk or treat area needs a ticket, its how we are controlling the number of people at a specific time.

Our trunks will be socially distanced and rules are in place to reduce personal contact and keep any risk low.

This year the event will not feature a film, but ticketing includes a kids pack (popcorn and soda) good for the same day, carry-out , or a future visit to the theater.

We may also have a trunk out collecting any donations to support the theater, if you would like to help.

On the ticketing page, please select a time and only use on of the selections. We know there are some issues but the page was created specifically for the HRC.

Updated Rules and Process:
1. Guests will arrive at the theater for check-in prior to entering the Trunk or treat area. Guests with confirmed tickets matching the time slot will be allowed to enter the trunk or treat area.
2. This isn't new, but I'm emphasizing the importance; a Limited number of tickets are available for each time slot, these tickets cannot be changed once they are purchased and cannot be admitted outside of their time block.
3. The Trunk or Treat area is ONE-WAY traffic. Parents please understand this is for the safety of everyone.
4. One party at a trunk at a time. As you and your party move throughout the Trunk or Treat Area, please wait until the party before you move on before you move to that area. Per Health Department we are socially distancing the trunks and the traffic, just to be safe.
5. Trunk partners will be required to wear masks or face shields.
6. Trunk Partners will place treat on a flat surface for treaters to pick up, reducing contact.
7. We will have hand cleaning stations available throughout the event.

Pack 3322 will be holding a socially-distanced Trunk-or-Treat on Friday, October 30th from 6:30-7:30 PM in the parking lot of Christ Community Chapel. HOW IT WORKS Each family places a bowl or bag with treats 6 feet away from their family’s car. Each bowl or bag is part of a larger circle, which the Scouts and young siblings (escorted only by an older family member and with no commingling of families) walk around the larger circle, in costumes, and proclaim “Trick or Treat,” collect candy from the family’s bowl or bag, and extend thanks.

Trunk-or-Treat will start at 6:30 PM. This event is open to all Pack 3322 families and any family with a child in grades K-5 who wants to learn more about Cub Scouts. Only the current 3322 families are responsible for setting up a trunk and passing out candy. All families are welcome to decorate their car trunk and pass out candy – but it is not a requirement to attend.
