More About Indiana State Museum - Camp in a Box

The Indiana State Museum is bringing Summer Camp to YOU! In an effort to provide a camp experience to our campers, we are excited to offer two options to engage your campers:

Each week, we will post a challenge designed for your child to design, create and build using materials they have around their house. Campers will be invited to share their creations on a virtual platform. Challenges will be posted on the ISMHS Facebook page click for details and camp page every Monday. This is a free activity and all youth are invited to participate.

Each kit has all the supplies needed to do five activities while entertaining your campers and continuing to stay safe at home. There will be an activity guide including instructions and additional resources to help further exploration. Campers will have an option to share their projects on a child-friendly platform. We will also have an optional daily video check-in for campers to see other campers, ask questions of museum staff, and to share their projects virtually. We will have a camp celebration at the end of each week where campers can virtually share their favorite project of the week. Information on how and when to connect will be emailed to the parent the week before the camp starts. Themes and cost are below.
