Small Business Saturday Promotion

Saturday, November 25, 2023, is officially Small Business Saturday in the United States. This is a day to celebrate and support small businesses and all they do for our communities. Last year, Small Business Saturday drove an estimated $17.9 billion based on projections from U.S. consumer reported spending. Studies show that $0.68 of every dollar spent at a small business in the U.S. stays in the local community and that every dollar spent at small businesses creates an additional $0.48 in local business activity as a result of employees and local businesses purchasing local goods and services.

Here at the Chamber, we’re planning a special "Keep the Cheer Here!" Shop Local campaign again this year and we are inviting you to get involved!

This year we are encouraging all of our members to participate on Saturday, November 25, 2023. If you plan on participating, please email the details of your discount, special, or giveaway to Nick Sharps at nick@garrettchamber.com. We will be compiling a list of participating members to promote the event.

There's no cost to join in the promotion. This promotion is not exclusively limited to retail businesses—if you can provide a discount, special offer, or giveaway then we want to include you! Because it will take some time to compile this information and properly advertise the promotion, we request that you send the details of your special deal or giveaway no later than COB Monday, October 30th to be included in our promotion.
