Little Wills Creek Ranch, LLC is partnering with the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad for a once-in-a-lifetime family event!
The alpacas will ride the rails from Cumberland to Frostburg, MD, aboard the WMSR’s regularly scheduled Frostburg Flyer on September 23 and 24.
Passengers riding in the Open Air Class will get a chance to ride with the alpacas before arriving at the historic Frostburg depot. Passengers that are not seated in Open Air will have a chance to visit the Open Air car to ride with the Alpacas as well.
After detraining, passengers and guests can swing by the Little Wills Creek booth next to the depot for special alpaca meet and greets, take pictures, feed the alpacas, sample products made from the fiber of our alpacas and learn some incredible alpaca fun facts and history! Learn ties the alpaca industry has with the railroads of the South American Andes. Please remember that, like all animals, alpacas can be spooked or provoked, so please be sure to treat the animals with respect, remain calm and follow the instructions of Little Wills Creek & WMSR staff.
