Foggy Valley Tent Revival - Lamplight Theatre

More About Foggy Valley Tent Revival - Lamplight Theatre

The Foggy Valley comedy crew will be returning to the stage at LampLight Theatre once again. This favored slapstick team will be performing their witty capers in their new production, “Foggy Valley Tent Revival.” This show is a guaranteed side-splitter with a message we all need to heed.

With tent revivals popping up across the country, the Goodin Family feels it is time to host one of their own to win their county back to Jesus. All efforts are made to bring in the best evangelists and singers in order to “save the lost and dying.” All kinds of folks come from all over to receive a blessing including some quirky distant family relatives. What the family doesn’t know is that this revival may well prove to be for them.

Brother Spoolie and Mama Goodin of the Goodin Family Funeral Parlor hosts Rev. Norville Dingus who is rumored to be a miracle working snake handler. He travels with his entourage of altar workers and singers. Madame Isadora, a gypsy Psychic and her sidekick, Yanko, show up by mistake on their way to a Paranormal Convention. Family friend, Clementine Hogg, is a “special guest singer” who has a fond interest in Rev. Clyde T. Humperdink, who happens to be the other guest speaker and Goodin Family pastor. Judith Miller, long-time stalker of Rev. Clyde, shows up with Rev. Norville and tries to steal Rev. Clyde from the arms of Clementine.

“Foggy Valley Tent Revival” features Dueling Evangelists, Spirit-filled Music, and Miraculous Signs and Wonders. During this comedy crusade, holy pandemonium ensues…secrets are exposed, and scandals are revealed. Moreover, the true message of redemption prevails.
