If you are looking for the perfect summer job, look no further! The Kingsport Aquatic Center is hiring and training summer lifeguards! For the month of March, the KAC is offering a 20% discount on their training courses for potential lifeguards.

For those interested in lifeguarding at the KAC, the American Red Cross Lifeguard Training course provides entry-level lifeguard participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize, and respond to aquatic emergencies. This course also includes training on how to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illness until emergency medical services personnel take over. In addition to the lifeguard training courses, the KAC is also conducting a Junior Lifeguard course in March for children ages 11-14.
