More About Young People's Music Competition
Auditions are currently open for our 21st annual Young People's Competition
Winners will perform on a Symphony concert this upcoming season.
Guidelines:
Play an instrument or sing (solo, duet, trio, quartet are accepted).
Memorize musical selection of their choice. The piece may be longer than 2 minutes, but the excerpt performed may not exceed 2 minutes.
Reside in Lake, Porter, Jasper, Newton La Porte or Stark Counties; study with a teacher in those counties; or be a member of the Northwest Indiana Symphony Youth Orchestra.
Must provide accompanist for auditions and for the concert.
Audition Sign Up Dates are January 12, 2023 to May 5, 2023.
Audition Date is Saturday, May 6, 2023 1:30-8:00 pm.
