More About Ballroom Classes in La Porte
The La Porte Park and Recreation Department is taking registrations for their Ballroom Dancing Classes. Through the instruction of Patty Kolvek, owner of Dance Sophisticates, participants will learn the Waltz and Night Club 2 Step.
This six-week program will be held on Thursdays, September 30, October 7, 21, 28, November 4 and 11 (no class October 14) from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Class will be held at the Civic Auditorium, 1001 Ridge Street. Please use the ramp on Plain Street to enter the building. Cost is $70 per couple and pre-registration is required by calling the Park Office at 219-326- 9600 or stopping in at 250 Pine Lake Avenue, weekdays 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
Additional Ballroom classes with 3 and 6 week sessions will follow through next spring.
