Southern Board Game Festival

More About Southern Board Game Festival

Test your luck, flex your mental might, and spark friendly rivalries at the Southern Board Game Festival, a convention for new and experienced tabletop gamers. You don’t have to be a tabletop wizard to play today’s most popular designer board games, so come solo or bring a friend to this one-day annual event on the campus of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. On Saturday, March 30, our Game Gurus will be close at hand to make recommendations, explain the rules, and referee the games.

With tournaments, play to win games, and premier games demos this is not your typical game night! During the 12 hours of open play, all attendees will have full access to our library of over 200+ unique board games. From the best indie board games kick-started this year, to the flagships from the largest publishers in the world. Whether you are curious about board games or a tried-and-true gamer, we have something just for you.

New to this year’s event is the UnPub Mini section. This area is dedicated to pre-published games and their designers. Meet the artists, get your burning questions answered, and try out the new games!

To purchase tickets ($20) or learn more about the festival visit,

*Must be 14 years or older to attend.

*All attendees must pre-register. There will be no door sales at the event.
