Weather permitting Registration is required Join us in front of the library for the 6th Annual Sidewalk Chalk Art Competition! Aspiring local artists, equipped with chalk, will have an opportunity to create sidewalk art based on the theme, “Dive Deep Into Reading.” Participants will have the opportunity to win several fun prizes. Registration: Registration will begin on Friday, June 8 and close on Friday, July 20 at 6:00pm. Further information about registration will be made available on the library website on Friday, June 8. You must register in advance if you would like to be guaranteed a space in the program. Walk-ons will be accepted as space permits on a first-come, first-served basis. Award Presentation: We’ll have lemonade and a light snack for all of our competition participants at 3:00pm in the Dahlmann Reading Garden in front of the library. Prize winners will be announced at this time.
