The month of October is for all things spooky! We have compiled a list of the scariest haunted houses in Northwest Indiana & the Chicago Area - guaranteed to give you the creeps!

Be advised – most haunted houses require guardians for minors under a certain age and don’t recommend haunts for children at all. However, most haunts acknowledge that you know your child better than they do but have to provide a disclaimer.

Please check each locations policies as they can vary greatly from haunt to haunt.

Lastly, know before you go. Many of the haunted houses on our list are weather permitting, or completely sell out on certain nights. Always verify the attraction’s dates and hours prior to visiting.

Brought to you by Wicked Willow Productions, the same people that brought you Nightmare at Amish Gardens. The premise of our haunted attraction is based on the legend of Gypsy's Graveyard on the outskirts of Lowell, Hebron and Crown Point, IN. Legend has it that a group of Gypys established camped here in the 1800's. The townsfolk were angry as there was an uptick in crime and disease and the Gypsys were easy to blame. The townsfolk forced the Gypsys to leave town in unfavorable weather and when there were many sick. The result was catastrophic for the Gypsys, many perished. It is rumored that the Gypsys cursed the towns folk for forcing them into such trauma. Our haunt is a play on that Urban legend where Nightmares are realized in revenge for the torment that was placed upon the Gypsys. Come experience Nightmares like you have never seen in a 7,000+ sq/ft indoor haunted house.
