More About The Gathering: The Last Supper Chronicles

Improv Playhouse Theater will be performing “The Gathering:The Last Supper Chronicles” a powerful, respectful, contemporary adaptation of the last hour of the Last Supper, directed by Improv Playhouse Founder, David Brian Stuart. The Gathering takes place during a dinner which biblical scholars agree as the last ‘earthly’ meal led by Jesus Christ. Each Disciple describes his “journey” with the Teacher who has profoundly influenced them all. They now are looking to choose a successor to his ministry ending with a dramatic energy to which all residents respond as impactful. The professional cast of 13 actors is comprised of some of the best regional performers in the area. The actors will “meet and greet” the residents should that opportunity be provided. Performance time 1 hour. This is the 11th year of the production.
