More About 14th Annual Amateur Photography Contest

Here is an opportunity for you to show off your best amateur photography work.
Photographs are judged by local professional photographers. Photographs will be
displayed for a public viewing opportunity at Lowell Library on May 5th from 10am– 12 noon.

Categories:
Nature Scene, Wildlife, Pets, People, Still Life, Sports, Architecture, Historical, Artistically Enhanced, Lowell Parks Open/Miscellaneous. (All categories will be open to black/white and color entries) One entry per category.

Age Divisions:
Elementary School
1st-5th grade
Middle School
6th-8th grade
High School
9th –12th grade
Adult

Awards:
1st - 4th place. Ribbons will be awarded in each category and age division.

Contest rules: Entries must be submitted by April 9th to the Lowell Park Office. All photographs (except for Historical entries) need to be taken during April 2017 – April 2018. An 8x10 photograph, (not framed or matted) presented in a plastic sleeve with name, address, phone, age division and category should be written on a label and placed on the back of the entry. Please no date stamps
or logos on photos.
